Our Trustees and Operations

As a registered charity, a board of trustees governs The Squad. Together they bring a wealth of experience from different backgrounds and are responsible for the overall governance of the charity. All trustees are unpaid – they volunteer their time and expertise for free.

Charlotte combines this experience with a long-term interest in organisations focused on supporting those of us with learning disabilities to achieve our potential, which has in part been driven by the impact of having lived experience of a sister with autism and learning disabilities.
