Volunteer
Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. They help to run our clubs and support our members.
Volunteering at The Squad is not only fun but also very rewarding. Whether you can spare only a few evenings a month or wish to become more involved – we’d love to hear from you.
We will support you in a variety of ways with ongoing professional training and a mentoring scheme. The training we offer includes advice and guidance in safeguarding, youth work and learning disabilities. Mentoring helps new volunteers to feel supported when joining the club and quickly brings them up to speed.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please see our Current Positions page.
The Squad is committed to the safeguarding of our members. All volunteers will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
