The Squad

Last Thursday, the Squad went to Wimbledon station to sing carols.

We sang carols to all the people who passed by in the ticket hall going to and from the trains and tubes.

This is something we've done for many, many years. It's the main event when members raise cash for the club by holding collecting tins.

This year, we raised £192.89. The money will go to help fund the Vets Club.

While we were there, a very kind lady dropped us a card and a box of chocolates. Here is what the card said:

We were so pleased with this that we wrote to the Metro newspaper to say thank you.

We hope she read it! The chocolates were lovely. We all shared them out after we had finished.
